Man
is looking everywhere for the answer to the emptiness or
loneliness he/she feels. The Bible gives us some
clear and concise reasons for this...and the solution to
the problem!
When a person gets saved, a person asks Jesus Christ
into their heart. At this point, a person is born
again. The Bible says in John 3:3, "...unless
a person is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of
God." When people are born again, they are
"new creations" (II Corinthians 5:17).
To be born again, you must:

Admit
that you are a sinner. The Bible says in
Romans 3, for all have sinned and fall short
of the Glory of God. |

Believe
that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the
Loving God, Who came to the earth and
voluntarily died on the cross for our sins and
rose again on the third day |

Confess
or repent of your sins and ask Jesus to enter
your heart and Him influence you to do His
will. All this takes is a simple prayer,
like the one below (However you can pray
whatever in your own words, the following
prayer is simply an example). Lord
Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I have
sinned against others, I have sinned against
myself, and I have sinned against you.
Lord Jesus, I ask that you please come into my
life and change me to be who You want me to
be. I ask that You take my sin away and
give me a new life. In Jesus precious
name, amen. |
If
you do this from a sincere heart, Jesus will
forgive your sins.
After becoming born again, it
is important for your new Christian walk to join a Holy
Ghost-filled church, read your Bible, pray, be baptized,
be filled with the Holy Spirit, and tell others about
